I had to spray it two/three times to get the sweet & spicy gingery goodness.
I will be using it for as my main office scent as it's just perfect for that.
For an EDT, L'Homme's sillage and longevity are not that bad, a good 4 hours, and definitely can be applied twice a day during summer, and more during cooler time of the year, if you wish.
Me personally, when it comes to a smell of scent that I like, I usually don't care much if I have to reapply.
They are soft, nicely "tamed" and not loud in the face, unlike in many men's colognes/EDTs out there.
And the dry down with cedar note brought it home for me (I like oud, cedar..men's fragrance a lot).
This reminds me of an Apple orchard in the summer, has florals and the spicy woods from the trees make it just feel refreshing.L'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance for men. L'Homme was created by Anne Flipo, Pierre Wargnye and Dominique Ropion. A nice appley gingery fresher version of boss bottled.Top notes are ginger, bergamot and lemon; middle notes are spices, white pepper, basil and violet leaf; base notes are tonka bean, tahitian vetiver and cedar. Theres nothing wrong with smelling nice as you arent going to offend anybody, but you also arent going to wow people either. If it wasn't for the fact that I bought it from the biggest, most reputable and most expensive shop in town I would have said I got a fake. The only thing I have to complain about is the projection and longevity, but maybe the scent was meant to be mildly projecting and meant for close encounters? When I sprayed it the first time I did not smell anything.
